Thread: ID for X Bred Pup? Bull Breed Owners I Need You!

  1. #1

Default ID for X Bred Pup? Bull Breed Owners I Need You!

Anyone care to have a guess at this little guy's background for me?
He was supposed to be Dalmatian X but I don' see any Dally in there at all.

I see Pittbull, or a pitty cross working cross bred (pigging dog) hence the wire coat - maybe Wolf/Deerhound way back when???

He is deaf as well is that is any help... I know some bull breeds have deafness linked to white colouring...

He is hard to photograph - doesn't sit still for a minute!! When at attention his ears come right up vertically and fold over neatly in half.

Very cute - not really my style but has a strange appeal... Sweet little guy though...

    All ideas welcome

I do see dally. As well as fox terrier. And who knows what else Deafness is also a major breed concern for dallies.

But my god he's cute with this coarse hair. Looks like hyena a bit

hee hee What a sweetie Thank you Natty for taking him, he was so very sweet and well behaved in his pen at Hawkesbury. Sadly i didnt get to spend any time with him. I am glad he is with rescue

I love his hyena hair too

Bully breeds are sticking out for me...

Heres a photo of him in his pen, I remember he jumped about all over the place for his photo for me too

His details say unknown x Lol

Well whatever he is , he is unusual and very cute!

I can't see too much Bull Breed in there though....well not too much of the breed you have in mind Natty

I agree I see some form of Wolfy or Terrier in there, perhaps still Dally ( as Fedra says, deafness, colour ) . Probably a right mixed form of Bull Arab that someone thought would be a good idea .

Good on you though for giving the sweety a chance!

Thanks guys. The kids have nicknamed him Monster. He is off to his foster home today. He has driven our other rescue pups nuts - super active boy, even too much for the baby kelpies!

I think the Hyena is a good call...

He's pretty quick to learn, despite his disability. There's someone out there waiting for a dog just like him...

Hang on!!! That's a new breed! Coarse haired dalmatan!
Now that I saw pictures of him in a pen I give both thumbs up that dally is definetelly one of the mixes. I don't see any bullys in him.
