    Default Golden Retriever Attacks.

Lisa Chimes talked about it on 7PM Project, and made plenty of excuses for it If it was Pit Bull, they would have been talking about that attack in a completely different light.
I will find the article ASAP.

Lisa Chimes is an idiot. I've met her in person at an interview at one of the hospitals she worked at and I could have just smacked her.

That aside, having heard about it all day, there are now reports that owner and GR were held at knifepoint sometime last week. The footage I saw showed a highly agitated dog pacing back and forth... Obviously something sent the dog into a frenzy because to attack four people? Extreme, even if it had been a bull breed.

And of course, because of the breed, people will try to find out why and campaign to save the dog. Next time a Rottie or GSD bites someone, where will those people be?

I saw the article earlier (there's one on ninemsn) and wrote out an essay about it. Quite literally lol. I googled 'pit bull attacks' and read an article from ninemsn on it. The differences in the language and way the article is set out infuriates me. It's manipulation at it's best.

I also noted that in every pit bull/staffy/ other 'scary' dog article, the dog was immediately detained and put down. Yet no one knows what is going to happen to the GR. I believe in rehabilitation so it all just blows, but where is the consistency and fairness??

This is the article I found:

Agreed, Jucelala... And in my opinion a dog of any breed could have done this. I think staffies make amazing family pets, maybe even more so than GRs, but you don't see them being advertised that way because of what BYBs and bogans have done to the beautiful breed.

    Grrrrr.

I thought it was funny in the video she was calling it a golden retreiver labrador lol

I am assuming she meant x but she kept saying it like it was a breed.

How horrid for that family though, and I do feel for the dog, he looked very distressed.

Also agree with the comments about the slant put on it due to breed...manipulation at its very best

Actually the correct name for a Lab is a Labrador Retriever. She just got it a bit backwards lol.

I know what the correct name for a labrador is, but I thought the breed was a golden retriever and she wa sjust ramdomly adding labrador on the end, because there is no such thing as a golden labrador retreiver

Labrador retrievers do not come in "golden" - they come in "yellow". So using "golden labrador retriever" would be incorrect.
