Thread: How Kransky Died

    Default How Kransky Died

Found this on the big forum thought I would repost here for those who don't use that one.

This is a very very sad story. The companies involved have been named and I hope that by this being posted people will discontinue using them.

    RIP Kransky

I wish I could say I was shocked by this but it happens far too often.

RIP Kransky, I hope your owners get some much needed closure.

This terrifies me... I've always had some plans to move to the US eventually with Carl and maybe Misch if she's around, and to see the plight of this poor animal makes me so angry. The companies involved should be blacklisted and people warned against using them. It's simply not good enough to leave a brachial breed ON HOT CEMENT in a HOT PLASTIC CRATE on a stinking day. Argh.

I hope his owners find some peace.

IMO Innappropriate treatment of any breed, any animal, Brachy or not.

It's disgusting. I wish companies that treated animals like that would be shut down permanently.

This is really very sad. I freight various animals regularly, and, despite all the careful packing that you do, you still have to hand them over at the end of the day, and pray they are okay at the other end. Freighting is nerve wracking at the best of times. That poor animal, and his owners.

What a shame they didn't get the necropsy done, especially if they were having him cremated, anyway. It would have been the most solid way of making the travel company face up and be accountable. Very sad.

I haven't read it on the other forum... and I don;t want to read it here. I can guess what happened and it just strengthens my resolve to not fly dogs unless it is absolutely 100% neccessary.

    So horrifying.
I've shipped my cats interstate twice in their lifetimes and the last time i did it their spirits were broken for a good week or 2 before they were back to their usual selves. I swore i'd never do it to them again.
I hope nothing like this happened to them.
