Default Help Me Identify the Breed of My Puppy! Please!

    Hi all,

I have a 6 month old pup, goes by the name of Cleo.
My boyfriend and I adopted her from Yagoona RSPCA Sydney.
We were told she was a Beagle x Retreiver, but as she's gotten older she's lost all of her "beagle" and definitely does not look like a retriever.

We are beginning to think she might be half Ridgeback? But she has no "ridge" on her back.
    Any ideas???

The first pic is what she looked like at 10 weeks.
The other is recent, somewhere between 5 months and 6 months.

The ears made me think a Bully breed so I googled and this Stafford cross Beagle seems pretty similar:

It does have a look simialr to a Boxer.

All in all though, he is a lovely dog and if you're happy with that, then that is enough. It is impossible to ever know what his genetic make-up may be so I wouldn't worry about it.

I would be tempted to send in two (saliva) samples of the same dog from two different people at two different times - just to see how reliable they are but at $75 to $150 a shot you need a lot more money than I have to throw their way.

Bluntly, unless when she was surrendered the owners knew exactly what the sire and dam were you'll probably never know exactly what she is. If she was picked up as a stray you'll have even less chance.

    She's definitely cute though!
