I am also new to this, so hope I am doing it right.

I want to practice my animal communication skills so need animals to practice with, and validation from owners.

I would like a photo of the animal as well as some questions. I will provide information for validation. I am a Reiki practitioner, so would like to offer distance Reiki to any animals whose owners take the time to be involved and would like a treatment for their animal.

Then why don't you start where the other person finished off, most of us have been waiting for ages, lol.

I can't help thinking how nuts this is.

I did a bit of a google around "animal communication" and it is about as real to me as psychics who can contact dead family members (the human ones). It seems to be the next new age thing in the USA - with people running courses on how to access your "alpha brain waves" (like the ones that let you know when the energy requires an alpha roll) and even Cesar Milan is into it with Susan Hill.

I guess its a bit of harmless fun if nobody is charging money for this but people are doing the workshops, reading books and then setting up in "practice". And I guess there are no regulations on it because it's based on anything tangible.

Many years ago, I organised an animal communications day with a supposedly well known animal communicator because I wanted to find out just what went on and whether I felt the person had "something". Two hours in, I was so embarrassed to have had anything to do with this person. It was excruciatingly ghastly and far from cheap for the day.

The most amazing thing, though, was that there were two people there who had been to a previous course run by this person. How anyone could sit through her rubbish twice is totally beyond my comprehension.

Naturally before the day, I'd had a few telephone conversations with the woman and in each conversation and for the first couple of hours of the day, it was if a button had been pressed and out came all the same stories of her background, all the same of her experiences with her animals. It was quite extraordinary.

All that said, again out of curiosity, I organised a "reading" over the telephone by Amanda de Warren in Brisbane and she had me nearly falling off my chair with some of the things she said.

I have no idea if you mean she was surprisingly accurate with info have you never made public, or she was spouting total garbage.

I'd like next weeks lotto numbers.
