    Hi Newfsie,

They are gorgeous and Luke's looking happier already after one week. Tessa looks quite remarkable, not quite as 'big hair' Do you clip them during the summer?

Meet 'Nero' on his first day with us (9 weeks old)

Initially he wasn't so sure about this all, but after a play in the garden he slowly warmed up to us.

Meanwhile he just had his first birthday and has turned out to be a 'waterdog'. There is no way he would miss out on a bit of splashing around never mind weather.... or mud.

I have never seen a chinese crested puppy before, adorable. As are the other two.

And I am very partial to black labradors, my friend breeds Labradors

Yes, he looks like a black lab doesn't he. His mom was a pure breed lab (a blonde though) but his dad was a kelpie-rottweiler mix.

Makes all sense to me... he loves to round up other dogs (who are often not quite as thrilled) and I believe only the first part of his retriever genes have come through properly. He likes to go and fetch whatever I throw him, but the actual 'retrieving' gene is a little overshadowed by his Rottie ancestor. He guards his sticks and balls fiercely and rather hides them somewhere save before giving them up

He was certainly a funny looking baby. Shame I don't have any tiny baby ones without his ear tape on.
