When you post on a public forum you have to expect both good and bad feedback/responses and comments.

Your not going to get a lot of support for breeding crosses. It's that simple.

I'm sorry but we are not being negative, just truthful.

I highly doubt you would be willing to spend several thousand dollars in health testing just to breed these dogs together.

If you are prepared to do that and have homes for them all already then we can help you.

Unlike some of the others, I don't have a problem with cross breeding.

However, exactly as CL says, you need to be prepared to have homes lined up prior to whelping, and to health check both parents for genetic disorders in each breed to ensure the best possible start for the pups.

If you are willing to do that, then you might get some great advice.

Hi TacoPuppy, I'm sorry you feel that our responses have been negative. I went back and reread through them, and in my opinion, the members here have been very helpful in explaining why crossing your puppy with a mini dachshund would be an extraordinarily bad idea.

Many people here are very, very passionate about the welfare of dogs and have been very decent in trying to answer your questions without being judgemental.

Perhaps you have not read through the links provided? They have very compelling explanations about the risks of breeding any dogs, as well as the addded risks of crossing breeds.

Yes, many breeds today are the result of crossing. But you must realize that responsible breeding is researched, structured, and often there is heavy culling of unsuccessful matings. It isn't a case of just having a go to find out for curiosity.

Again, I'm sorry noone has given you the answer you wanted... Just consider that maybe the answer you wanted was a bad idea?

yeah willing to lookin to gettin them tested geneticly as i said befor we are only on here finding out our best possibilitys for all of this i would oviously pick homes for them before anything but we do not know how many pups she would have there for i cant pick homes but i do have atlest 4 peopel who want a pup from taco

one way of helping would be insted of saying they have genetic problems how about telling me what problem a chawawah has and what problem a foxy has and what problem dashound has this would make it a lot easer
