I think a lot of what you say ignorance and you are misinforming the newbies to the breed, I have had this breed longer than you and have had success with true Italian type blood lines who live a long life and dont look like a great dane x Lab, if you dont have it and cant either afford or access the quality blood lines DONT knock it.

Funny how you and your crony where ready to call Gheno blood lines but yet when you where called out about one of your own dogs you went to water.

    Keep it real

Now how exactly did that make you appear credible exactly?

Truly,if you have a beef then as already said, take it up with MB privately. Attempting to belittle them with such sad use of the english language has only now shown you to be quite spiteful and dare I say it....quite envious.

I do hope you return and perhaps have a point to post per the actual thread.
Surely for someone with such strong opinion on another members knowledge has some great depths of their own to share with us all on the subject matter ?

And I agree Crazy , it is a great topic!

What on earth does this have to do with the current thread? Try as I might, I can't find any reference to Neo's by MBM or anyone else!

You do yourself no favors by outright attacking another contributor, but to do so with no apparent provocation, and with no apparent context, and in such vehement and rude language is affronting!

    Please clarify?

Which is exactly how not to use inbreeding!

Pity Mario Zacchi is not still around, you could let him kmow his fears for the future health of the breed was unwaranted, that you, the mighty Johnson would breed the ever bigger dogs he saw no merit in, and save the day while all others failed to produce longer lived dogs you would do it !!wow again.

I prefer to be civil and leave people to have the last word if they wish, their different ideas do not threaten me, that is not going to water sunshine, that is just letting ohers be who have done me no harm.

Everone knows who I am, how come you don't share who you are with us if you seek recognition for your line of dogs 'eh old mate ? do step out of that corner and let us take a peek at what sort of bug you are.

    Minibulls,
    Hope your computer is OK.
I just wanted to add that since being a Neo admirerer & owner you have been 1 of the first breeders in many many years that I have not left a conversation about the breed feeling dread & saddness. I love this breed but after several nightmarish attempts at buying a show/breeding standard bitch I had to decide to concerntrate on my Tibetan Mastiffs as even though their bloodlines where very limited at the time the health of the breed was saddly so much better than the Neo's. I should add no exspense was spared & I bought what where the winning bloodlines of the time mixed with a imp from reg breeders. Really I have the Neo's to thank for opening my eyes to what a lot of show breeders are all about & it most certanly is not the health of their choosen breed. How can it be OK to breed for a genetic illness instead of breeding to avoid genetic illness??? How can it be right that a breed that was once one of the most adgile of the larger mastiffs is now in many causes only slightly better than a cripple.
I said I would keep my mouth shut as much as possible on this 1 but I have a real soft spot for Neo's & it realy upsets me to see what goes on within the breed.
To Johnson, shut up or put up is my saying. So show us your dogs & breeding results.

Neo's are not meant to be drawfs with wrinkles that cause skin inferctions or to have such low uminities they can hardley surivive in todays world nevermind the over big body on short legs & unable to get around the ring without a good rest after. I over 20 years ago knew of Neo's who could scale 8 foot fences & run flat out for more than 10 steps.
Why would you come on here & say such things if you have an issue take it up with her in private because what you have just done makes you look very small & immature in general so if your issues valid you hjave done yourself no favours.
What I do have a problem is misinformation and " fairy tales".
You sound like you DONT know much at all about Neapolitan Mastiffs.

Unless you lived outside of Australia you did in fact NOT know of any Neapolitan Mastiffs that scaled 8 ft fences as the first ever Neapolitan Mastiffs in Australia was in 1992 in Perth and NO they did not scale any sort of fences as I actually had a pup from that very first litter

It is achievable to have "Typey" "Correct" Neapolitan Mastiffs who can do more than 2 laps of a show ring, I have many Australian Ch who can come on 3 km runs with me. What is not desirable is people who have less than correct Neapolitan Mastiffs using the "Lab X Dane " Look as a the real Neapolitan Mastiff because maybe these people do not have the resources to get healthy "Typey" Specimens imported.

I Do have a problem with people on these forums being self proclaimed experts on a breed, when they have excuses for why this or why that because maybe they have less than breed standard TYPE !

A perfect example of the breed standard is Caligola Di ponzano lived till 9 was super fit and functional and LOOKED like Mastino Neapolitano !

Well unfortunately I still cannot see what on earth this has to with thos topic .
And it certainly sounds like a personal beef with MB so why not take it to PM ?

And afterall,if you have such extensive knowledge of the breed and have such fantastic specimens of the breed then we would be extremely interested in hearing/seeing more about them.

I assume you are able to do this at the very least instead of just continuing to attack members credibility?
