Default How Long Do Papers for Pedigree Take??

i got my Staffy pup 2 weeks ago at 8 weeks old and his breeder had only just sent away for the papers a few days before the pups were old enough to go to their new homes. once she gets the papers she is going to send them all out individually to us. just wondering if anyone knows how long they usually take?
    thanks

    Hi
    zedandme,
Papers can take a few weeks or even a bit longer, if you are in QLD the breeder must send them in to put your pup in your name, other states have different rules so depends a bit on where you are

Once all our pups have been named by their new owners, We will then send in the paperwork to CCCQ to register the new kennel names for each pup which for us will be KIRRIKURO(our name)+(owners chosen name/s)..

Then it's up to CCCQ to process the forms and send back the Pedigree Certificates which we will forward on to the owners.

We waited 3 months for the papers for Kirri to arrive from Dogs NSW..

We hope Dogs QLD wont take as long.

It can take months or weeks depending on how busy they are at the time.

You let the new owners pick their pups names Mitte? Can I have a dog from your next litter

I got what I was given with mine. Papers also took nearly 3 months to arrive due to a stuff up... the wrong parents were written on the pups papers so they had to be resubmitted.
Didn't bother me really, all I had to do was call the kennel club and they told me his registration number, they just hadn't processed it yet.

i got to choose the name i wanted on my pups papers i asked her well in advance and she was happy for me to choose (kennel name then my choice) i think she chose the names for the rest of the litter as i dont think any other buyers asked about it.

    Hi

We are a number of Dog Owners, Who have now Waited more than 7 months on our dogs/ bitches papers. the Breeder refuses to respond to any requests from us ( 6 of us) but we know there was 8 of us getting a puppy from her, although I got mine as a "second hand 9 month old bitch" as the original buyer did not want her anymore. don't get me wrong I still paid top money for her, and she is coming around slowly. we love her to bits. I know the owner of the Dog who fathered the litter let the Breeder have the dog on loan, but it was on the condition that the breeder did not breed from Him. Only she has had an "accidental" mating, although the dog owner has told her that Once she completes the papers she will sign the Registration of the litter although she had not agreed to the mating. But the Breeder is just not doing anything at all. What can we do for force her hand to do the right thing?
