UNfortunately, I spoke to the shelter this morning and she is only able to go to a home where she is the ONLY dog.

Apparently she is quite dominant and will put up with other dogs for a very short time only before she gets snappy so they wont rehome her with other dogs.

On one hand I am kinda bummed because I just saw her pic and was like "she has to come live with us", but in a weird way on the other hand I am kinda releived because now I dont have to adjust the current mini pack dynamics (which work beautifully as is).

Over all though I am disappointed, I was hoping to give the old girl a nice bed and lots of love for her last few years and now I cant.

Ahhh well, if it was mean to be, it owuld be eh.

Obviously I am open to adopting an oldie, which until yesterday I didnt think I was LOL. I usually like ot get em as babies for the bonding and gettign them to fit into your life aspect. Guess I have changed over the last couple of years lol

Oh well maybe she was just meant to open your eyes & heart to taking in a golden oldie some day not so much meant to come & live with you.

Nice one, old dogs are great, they know what is what and do not cause half the mayhem pups and young dogs do.

We have an older Cavalier no one wants because he is 8 years old, has had to have a few teeth out and an eye but otherwise perfectly healthy and a delight about the house his old tail wags constantly and his one eye shines with glee, he is just one happy old dog.

Only wrong he ever does is the odd piddle on the spud basket 8>)
