Default Eukanuba Extraordinary Dogs on Seven...

Watch Eukanuba Extraordinary Dogs: Sat 5 Feb, series 1 episode 1 - PLUS7

They showed it on the telly today - and of course - I missed it...

Had the italian rescue dogs - labs and newfies, some NZ rescue dogs on building rubble, mountain terrain and snow. And some Aussie Sled dog racing. Alaskan Huskies with short coats look like long legged BCs to me.

And there may be another episode next week...

    I enjoyed it.

Just about to go and watch it - as we are 3 hours or so behind the eastern states.

I know Bettina who was with the newfie rescue dog, Vera, her family breeds newfies. She travels to Italy for the Training from Belgium. I just love it. I have lots of photo's and clips of them at home.
I really enjoyed the whole programme, it was great. Lovely to see dogs doing what they do so well. Loved the Rescue dogs in NZ. I am currently trying to teach my Border Collie cross golden to do a ladder. that dog made it look so easy

I have only met one leonberger on our newfie days. he also loves the water and just seems like a Brown newf in his mannerism. i might offend someone by saying this, but he seemed to just fit in with the newfs and very alike

Here he is a lovely dog to be around

Yes I thought they may fit in well actully. Every so often in that clip there was a dog that was either a poor type of Newfie or a Leonburger & it got me thinking about the fact that they would probley be OK at water rescue also.
