Similar to your other post about the dog being shot by police, if it hit such a chord why wouldnt you explain it in the initial post, why does it take 3 pages before suddenly "it happened to you".
You must associate with some wonderful people.
I did not think the story needed telling till now. I could give you court case numbers if you want to check my story out!!!!!!
I worked in rescue for over 10years in western sydney & have seen many appauling things & I don't really enjoying retelling things as it brings with it the memories.
So as far as assocating with certain people yes I did through rescue dogs mainly.
I also grew up in a farming family & some of our family have racehorses & I worked as a vet nurse. I now do alot of retraining aggressive dogs so when you take my life story into account it becomes not so surpricing the things I have seen.
I have not needed to work for a living full time & for most years not at all(outside of family) so have devoted alot of my life to animals.
I don't really care what you beleive as I just say it how I see it & am not out to make friends anyway with someone who wants to turn a desicussion into a personal attack.

Yep... can we get this thread closed please? I think it has degenerated into a quite unproductive discussion which isn't going to lead to anyone convincing anyone of anything. Probably doing more damage than good, and I kind of regret starting it in the first place.. Sorry guys!

Therein lies the problem, you think people who dont share your view need educating. See how things work, i dont think anything less of your opinion, it yours and your entitled to it and i totally respect it, however i dont agee with it, nor am i going to try and change it.

No the problem was when you turned it personal.

No i questioned your timing with the tugging of the heartstrings, comes around the same time you feel your not a big enough part of the post or its not going your way.

Clearly Chipps made the statement about educating people who obviously need it because they share a different view.

I would be the lest calculating person there is & am I lot more likely to just say it how I feel it & often times to my own determent. I probley talk too much as I can tend too but as for being as calculating & malipulating as to think out my posts in such a way is just not me. I longer do foster or rescue in such volume as it was emotionly scarring & therefore a rescue story is hardly the first I want to share on such a thread.
As foe wanting to educate people thats a great thing & has nothing to do with trying to influance what they beleive is right but more to make sure people have all the information before they make their decession on what is right or wrong. Education is all about gaining as much information on a matter as possible & then being free & bright enough to come to your own decessions.
