    Default WoofStock

I'm sure that a lot of you more tuned into the dog world would have already heard about this but I think it looks pretty cool: WoofStock. Jealous that there isn't a Sydney day but we do have Dogcember which is similar.

Are there any events similar to this where you live or are you going?

    Um we have

SA Dog Rescue - Home and Events

Is organising a dog day at Semaphore beach on Feb 20th

Bouncy castle, face painting (is going to look weird on a dog?), etc.

Charles Sturt organised a dog day out last year at Henley Square in the hope of educating doggy beach users. They made us put our dogs on lead even though it was off lead hours. Not sure it's worth a free sausage.

RSPCA do the million paws walk, AWL did a reunion party...

Our dog club did a rally - clue hunt... I won - um. A soft dog drink bowl - that she won't drink out of unless she thinks it belongs to someone else - go figure.

We have Paws in the Park in Wodonga, Million Paws in Albury and Howlong Mutts in may in Howlong. That is about it. I would love to go to one of the large events

Lol, I have 2 of those things for Suzie that we got for free, don't know if she'll use them though, hopefully on our holiday/car trip next week.

That sounds like good fun, Semaphore is a great location too. They had face painting and nail painting at Dogcember but it was just for people. I would have loved to have done doggy nail painting but I don't know what profits would have been after buying a decent amount of doggy nail polish, and I don't think that most dogs would let a stranger paint their nails.
