Default Poo --- Where Does It Go?

I know where it comes from...... But where does your go?

Been burying it for ages & never enjoyed this task, Seems to never beak down like other animal manures, just a boggy pile covered in dirt.

Is it good for the garden, or is that a myth?

Is it safe to bury, or should it be placed in the toilet just like human poo for health reasons?

Edit: Found a link from Dogs life / Sutherland shire: http://www.dogslife.com.au/dogs_life...444&pid=498832

    Good question.
When mine have mainly raw meaty bones and meat there is hardly anything, it's usually small ,white and crumbly. Shoots up the mower, no smell and into the garden compost.
Now if I have to feed dry, such as EP, I have a 3x3 area to which I deposit the slighty larger peices to which I add Bokashi. All gone in 2 weeks, lots of worms and a good little eco system which breaks down nicely.

    Hey Molly

Poo puffs when mowing is fun
But hitting a fresh cable just aint pleasant

Just did a googly for "Bokashi", looks like it uses bran & sawdust instead of worms.

Yes it has lots of micro organisms, and after awhile you get heaps of worms. Mines been going for years and years.

I do poo petrol twice per day. I can not stand looking at the poops around and worry about stepping on them.

I use a poo scooper with plastic bag attached. It only needs to be changed once a week and then the poo bag goes to the waste bin.
I love cooking but I love eating even more.

I have a doggy composting tolit that works well but I agree with Molly the dogs eating mainly raw have heaps less poo & less offensive poo to the dogs on other feeds.

Poop patrol every morning, then into a bag and into the bin.

    Such a lovely topic lol

Definately gunna look at a composting setup (worm or Bokash kinda thing), but not the compost bays I use for vegies . The wheelie bin tends to get very hot & smelly here.

Yep diet plays a huge part.

    Thanks for the feedback gang
