Thread: Closing Threads

    Default Closing Threads

Im probably about to get inito trouble ( whats new lol)
but why do the threads keep getting closed? why cant u just deleted the offending posts and carry on? its very frustrating when i come in and see ppl have asked me questions and i cant answer them because ppl are banging on about off topic shit and bingo the threads locked

So ive dragged over this comment made by " mental i am" ( interesting choice of nic lol)
Thirdly, in my opinion a ASBT is a completely different breed to a SBT. So calling it a "Staffy" sounds wrong to me as well. I wouldn't call a Shetland Sheepdog a Collie, even though it looks like a miniature Rough Collie.
Ok what exactly is a ASBT?? never heard of them, i can only assume you mean AST there is no BULL in the American Stafford lol

And in reply to occys question.... Yes I do understand what you were saying regarding stafford bulls verses Amstaffs however i must say ive NEVER in all my days heard anyone call a GSD a Sheppie lol ive heard Sheppard, ive heard Alsatian, but never sheppie lol just sounds funny , i guess its the circles we move in and i think this is where choppa was comin from too...When you spend a lot of time around professional dog breeders and at professional dog shows and events etc the dog language becomes 2nd nature and there are just some things that are acceptable and others that arent..haha i can just heard GSD breeders all over the country cringing at the thought of ppl calling their breed " Sheppies" haha...
Im not in any way digging at you, i just think it sounds funny

I don't call them sheppies lol, I have heard it. I don't like Alsation - it is a very British term used after WW1 as anything german was seen as bad and the breed was developed on the Alsais border between France and Germany.

    People call my dogs:
    Shep
    Shepherd
    Sheppie
    GSD
    Inspector Rex
    Police dog
    Alsation
    etc

Lots of names - same silly beasts!
