Default I Thought I Would Show Off My PTS Dog.....

In a previous post i told everyone about Annabelle, who it was suggested should be PTS.
This is her now, re-trained and a lovely dog to own. I am very proud of her and all her achievements.

It was our Kennel Club Christmas break-up.....Annabelle had all the human Newfie shaped cookies in her cart and the Bone cookies for the dogs. I wrapped 80 cookies

    here is my Darling Annabelle

I unharnessed her for some of the games, she loves the games

What a sweet heart, I love her face. I admitt I am not up on the newfie breed standard but I think she is very nice.
You know I would like to put my mums Maremma in a cart,I am sure he'd love it. I let him tow me on a bike flat out & was thinking he'd love sledding also. He's names Snowny & he is mister energy.
I am so glad you saved Annebelle, her spirit just shines through that photo.I often find it's the so called hopeless cases that become those 1 of a kind once in a lifetime type of special dogs.

Yes she is now my heart-dog. She is a little small for the newfie standard, only just.
I have a friend who carts a Maremma, he loves it

Annabelle was a people and dog aggressive rescue newfie due to previous owner abuse. It was fear aggression. We took her on and had a lot of problems at week three, she tried to kill our other dog. We sought A vet dog behavourist help and after two consults and lots of $$$$'s she recommended PTS........We found help from a fabulous guy who told us if were prepared to spend the time and give the commitment he would help ( and some $$$$'s again ). So many month later and lots of hours, we have ended up with the most gorgeous newfie, Annabelle. She even has her CCD and we are working at CD. She is now the Social Butterfly of the Kennel Club and feels it is her duty to meet and greet everyone and every dog.
The dog she tried to kill is now her best friend, they do Obedience together. It wasn't an easy path, but it was worth it and has taught us lots and made me very interested in dog training and behaviour
