    Hi guys

Have you seen "Sharkwater"? it is a doc of of sharks, their crucial plight and the stupidity of the human race...

The photography is awsome and the story mind blowing.

The great Paul Watson joins the fight and shares his inspirational views on making an individual difference in this world.

    A must see IMO.

Sorry go off topic, though this applies to all animals....

Don't hate on me but I really dislike some sharks. I don't know why. I think most marine life is beautiful but I fail to see the beauty in great whites and grey nurses. Not suggesting they should be culled, but wolves are majestic, strong, powerful. Sharks are big fish

Lol! I do not think i would ever like to face one face to face when swimming

Though honestly, "Sharkwater" blew my mind and it taught me so much...esspecially re the intricate part each animal species plays in eco systems.

I would highly recommend this doc, really awsome

Anyway back on topic for the lovely Gray Wolves...

I don't think I'd want to meet a Great White shark face to face either - but they are amazing animals. I think I'd like to meet a Bull shark even less!!

I saw an amazing documentary on Animal Planet a couple of years ago about a couple who re-created a wild Gray Wolf pack from hand raised stock. After they had lived successfully in the wild for several years a problem developed with the reserve they were in. They were offered a permanent home by a Native American Tribe in their land and the whole pack were re-captured and re-located.

The bonds between the people and the wolves were astounding, between the man and the alpha male there was an amazingly close bond. Beautiful footage and narration by the couple involved. I'll have to try and find the name of it... Well worth watching if and when it screens again.

They even hand raised additional cubs from separate bloodlines to broaden the pack's genetic potential - and they were accepted so well by the adults.

That was quick - my memory must be better than I remembered...??

The couple are Jamie and Jim Dutcher. Anyone interested in their wolf or other wildlife projects, their website is here:

Amazing people. It would be tragic if all of work was undone....
Their "About Wolves" page pretty much sums up the reasons behind the petition to maintain their legal protection.
