    Fedra,
Cool I love reading different veiws on this subject as I am yet to really decide what I beleive. I am still on the fence with the human side of things as in would love to believe there is a god that created us all but my brain tills me otherwise. My mum is a highly quilifided RN[nurse practionser] & she beleive in both god & evolution as I in god was behind evoluation, I think. She knows too much science to disbunk the evolution theroy but has had personal exsperainces that make her sure there is a god. Me I am still reserching, lol..........................we have gone from rare dog talk to evolution, lol............
Anyway I just love to hear how others think................

I am still having some photo issues but am uploading to a photo bucket now so should get better but here is a photo attachment of a fossilized TM skull. Their skull is such a different shape to other breeds & nearly bear like. Mine[& most TM's] also have a different bite[teeth placement]than any other dogsthey seem to have much bigger canines & their molars are huge.
Opps no I can not post pic but will try & resize it & post later.

Will try and get you some photos of the neapolitan mastiff's teeth to compare to.
As for the Neapolitan being a rare breed, maybe/maybe not.

Four working breeds that are quite rare in Australia are the Staghound, Patterdale, Jagd and the Jack Russell Terrier.

You know we used to see heaps of the short legged Jacks at different farms but these days I only see the longer legged Jacks. And they are no where near as game in my opinion thas the shorter legged Jack.
My brothers mates used Stagehounds for pigging.
