    Default Funny Naughty Dog

    Hello all ,

Just a comment thingy I guess .. Dexter the Border collie pup is so mischeivious.

He has now taken to tipping his and Bandits water bowls (3 we have around the gardens) over and chasing the water intothe flower beds , then proceeds to dig the water up leaving a big black mess.

When the retic is on he tries to eat the sprinkler heads but fails (phew) just ends up soaked with a belly and mouth full of water

I have tried a few things to stop this but still happens . Looking now for a cheap heavy bowl.

He has also found his was into the shed and eaten my sponges for washing the cars and harley . eaten all my plants and on and on it goes.

we have balls and rubber toys we change each day so he isnt getting bored withthem but he prefers my plants lol.

    Little bugger

haha yer i remember when my husky puppy destroyed all the potted plants ... but only pruned the ones in the ground lucky for us hahaha she also chewed the wheels of our large gas heater, three sets of beds, my older dogs collar, some stray socks / undies, and ate PLENTY of dirt ... especially when it was raining .... actually come to think of it she still runs around in the rain like an idiot ... she is nearly 3 silly pup haha

You will probably find that he's not trying to eat the sprinklers when they're on, he just loves water. My border collie is absolutely obsessed with the hose because she chews at the water when it comes on. When I switch it off, she'll sit there for hours just watching the hose, waiting for the water to come back on. She does the same thing as yours with sprinklers. Border Collies need a lot of mental stimulation and like to have a job to do so if he's starting to be destructive you should think about lots of mental training. I also spend every minute with mine when I'm home and I've never had a problem with her being destructive.
    Good luck.

haha my husky is nearly 3 also and she will sit out in the rain, but turn the hose on and she is GONE! hates it, hehe but we love her, even if we have to dodge all the enormous holes she digs in the back yard.

fluke has this really weird habit of swimming in the troughs but when he goes to the dam he does not swim, when the hose comes out he is nowhere to be found

We have two sofas in our lounge room, with 2 cushions on each. Usually my husband and I are on one, and Ziggy comes in a jumps on the other. If she wants to play, she will pick up one of the cushions in her mouth, and then throw it onto the floor! It's so funny to watch.
