On the NSW registry of 2004, there were about 100 pitbulls all up. So they're all unregistered - so not really pitbulls or there are very few around. Like every shark that chomps someone is a Great White. In fact wobbegongs (carpet sharks or aussie terriers of the underwater world) chomp more people than any other shark.

So if they don't know what it is, it's probably a bitsa. It might look like a pitbull but you're really going to have to judge on its merits. Is it trying to lick you to death - good dog. Is it trying to eat you, get out the sedative - bad dog.

A few pet hates on forum ettiquette. I hate

    * people who join the forum and don't use the introduce yourself section. Not that I always read those but I will if you're posting elsewhere and I want to know more about you.

    * people who join the forum and then proceed to post in every thread that interests them - without reading the whole thread or noticing that the last post in that thread was made months or years ago.

    * people who post in a thread several months old ie the conversation has died, and post the same as the third post in the thread ie they resurrect a basement thread with no new information.

Note I do love when people post an update in their original thread to the situation. But that's not the same as bumping the thread without offering anything new. Grr.

    * People who only post to plug some product, especially if they post some completely unsolicted advice to promote the product. Ie their post count is 1 and it's "I reckon you should buy this great product". You should pay Morgan for the right to make such a post, it should come with a permission slip.

    * Spammers who post in basement threads (ie ones that haven't had anything new for weeks or months or years), to plug some product, usually in their signature, and they make a post that has nothing whatsover to do with any other post in the thread. You think we won't notice because you didn't start the thread? Wrong. Although I'm willing to bet these guys will never see or read my complaint about them.
