im not saying that this is what is happening but i have heard of dog catchers getting paid by commission, the amount of dogs they pick up = the amount of money they get. i have heard of peoples dogs being let out constantly and then "catched" by the rangers ..... perhaps keep it in the back of your mind ......

Its sounds very very odd. Talk to the ranger on Monday. Im quite interested aswell.
He's microchipped so wouldn't they get the owner's details from there?
I'm pretty sure rangers don't just sieze dogs in Perth so I will be interested to hear what happened too. In my experience, a ranger gives 3 notifications of a complaint before anything happens. Maybe the law has changed?

I'm gonna call the rangers back tommorrow and try and speak to the ranger that impounded him.
If the ranger didnt enter my yard the only other thing I could think of is perhaps kids opened my gate and after seeing a slobbering mess come after them they ran off?
I dunno, but if he did get out I'd still like to find out how far he got.
Still pretty annoyed $102 for nothing, though I'm glad I have him back safe, Ive already been through the nightmare of losing my Staffy Obie.

Deebo's mugshot at the pound the lady let me have.

He's grown so much. I still remember you showing us his tiny puppy photos.

Called the ranger today, he said he got a call from someone on my street that had found deebo and he went to pick him up. He then got my details off the micro chip and left me a notice in my letter box, I thanked him very much.

Someone must of let him out, I just wished the person on my street that found him would call the vet instead of the ranger.

I put my phone number on a tag so if someone find my dogs they call me instead of the vet or ranger
