    Cool Hot Weather

What kind of dog breeds would best be suited for dry hot climates?

I have seem many short hair dogs such as whippets suffer a bit in summer and normal medium hair dog such as ACD seems doing fine. Even my friend's husky loves summer. Then again Mt Isa will be much hotter than Sydney...

IMO yes consideration of breed is good idea but more importantly you need to consider the environment a dog would be in (most of time) and hopefully the dog adjust itself well....of course with your help
I love cooking but I love eating even more.

Kelpies definately do well in hot weather!
My Kelpie doesn't seem to notice the hot weather, if anything she loves it, and she seems to not like cold weather!

What sort of breeders breed up there?
I guess that could be a good indication.
