Default Cant Keep My Mouth Shut

Okay so I had been sitting there fuming over the thread about Sumo. I have spent over 2 hours writing such a short reply, because I wanted my point to come across clearly without me being de-meaning to anyone.

DA, Im sure you wont appreciate this but I need to make my point and send my support. If you feel the need to ban me or close this thread then do so. But please leave it available for both Dorte and JJames to read. Thank you.

    JJames,

I think you have stepped way out of line on this one! The RSPCA is there for a reason! It is there for people who can GENUINELY no longer care for a pet. Perhaps you should be turning your anger on the people who create the TT, the reason why staffords rarely pass the test. Cleas is only trying to give a GOOD dog another chance which is well deserved. He has been lovingly cared for. Why should Cleas end such a young life if there is even a remote possibility of him finding another home???
You should NOT be personally attacking a forum member who is obviously in an immense state of grief. How about you just back off and keep your opinions to yourself in this thread. If you had been paying enough attention perhaps you would have realised that Cleas hasn't been posting all that much lately, take a second to think about why that is.........do you know the full story??? Who the hell do you think you are???

    Dorte,

I cannot see your post as it has been removed. I do not know what you have said about it on this forum, but I know a small part of the story. I know that you have done the best for your animals. I know that during my time of great need, you were there, for both me and my dog with only our best interests at heart. You have had to make a heart breaking decision, who is to say it is wrong or right? No one!

I have my fingers crossed for Sumo and am hoping against hope that he was a good boy and passed the TT with flying colours. Im sure if he did that he will find a loving family who will be willing to make him apart of their family for the rest of his life.

My thoughts are with you and your family during such a hard time. I will be here to support you, as you have me, whenever you feel the need. You know how to contact me.

    Hugs and Support,

    Rachel and Bailey xx

Your not the only one stewing over it Judge!

I am SO dissapointed in the members of this forum!!! When did we become so judgemental and rude??? When did we lose empathy for other people??? Other pet owners???

This place is fast becoming a place that is neither helpful nor supportive!!!

I think the admin and mods need to think about more consequences for members who are constantly rude and offensive and who break the forum rules!!!

Personally, her way of dealing with the situation is not mine. After avenues had been tried and failed I would have been the one to PTS. I could not have left my dog to the uncertainty and the abandonment.

HOWEVER, if she feels that this way he has at least a hope, who am I to challenge that?

I feel we make the best decisions that WE can with our OWN situations and hopes.

I feel that no one has the right to attack on that especially after the deed is done. If a thread had been made that this was being considered and asking for opinions to help in forming a decision that would have been a different matter. Respectful not emotive replies needed.

Heartbreak is heartbreak and WE do not need to add to that.

Any posts made under the name of Di_dee1 one can be used by anyone as I do not give a rats.

I don't know why I have to justify myself over again to you people BUT I stand by what I posted.

Did you read the opening post to that thread or was it deleted before you got the chance?

Judge.. you can believe all you want that I overstepped the line but I don't think I did. Sumo has been badly let down here.

Yes I have been reading Cleasanta's threads and it doesn't change my opinion.

I did not make any personal attacks. I simply reacted to the thread and my saddness for Sumo.

Who the hell do I think I am?? I'm a person who is passionate about dogs. I will stand up for their welfare EVERY time so NO I will not keep my opinions to myself.

Amy86.... forums are not all sweetness and light. Simply ignore my posts if you feel they are judgemental and rude. I have empathy for people... but my true concern is for the dogs.

Di dee, I see where you are coming from, However if someone is going to start a thread, in the memorial section no less, then good or bad you need to expect responses and emotional ones at that.

I'm sorry but I just cannot respect the decision that Cleasanta has made. I cannot help but post emotive reactions to the thread and I will not apologise for that.

Seriously guy's... if you don't want to be judged on your actions then don't start threads that leave you open to criticism and opinions you are not prepared to hear.

Judge, you can start a topic about whatever you want. No skin off my nose. What you fail to comprehend unfortunately, is that your post is far ruder than JJames' post was any day.

Amy, you are correct - perhaps mod and Admin should come down much harder on ppl who appear rude and judgemental to others. You also fail to comprehend that if that was so, many members would be reprimanded and there'd probably be few left.

What dumbfounds me is the pig-headed unfairness that is protrayed here. You can have any opinion, you can be bloody rude, you can be as judgemental as they come, but that's okay? But if someone else says something you don't like, oh **** all hell breaks loose.

I'm glad none of you saw the replies from one member in that thread. Thankfully the member deleted her own posts saving me the effort, because they really were deplorable.

Would you have all jumped up in arms if JJames had used the words testicles instead of balls, just to be politcally correct.

Yep, I've had an absolute gutful of all this rubbish! I have also had a gutful of being told to delete threads every time a member starts one, then gets comments they don't like. Tough frigging titties. If a person starts a thread, deal with the replies whether you like them or not. Or don't start the darned thread in the first place. It's childish and it's a joke.

If I was crippled to the point of being unable to take care of my dog, I'd hope she'd find a good home with some of her friends from dog club or maybe my family, but there is no guarantee. And if I didn't have family or dog club support - what could I do? What if the breed specific rescue couldn't help? What if surrender to RSPCA is what they recommended? Maybe so they could help. Some of the rescue orgs have rules that stop them taking "private surrenders".

And thanks Amy86 for generalising about all members of this forum when there seems only a few incapable of "what if" thinking.

DA - When have I been judgemental and rude??? Last time I checked there was a difference between repremanded and banned! And so what of tougher penalties mean that repeat offenders are eventually banned?! Might make the forum a better place! There's a reason you went off and started your own forum! One has to wonder!!!

Hy - I stated my opinion without being rude or offensive! I'm allowed to do that!!! At least once a week there are closed threads, banned members, offensive and rude replies! Not all forums are like this! So why does this one hav to be that way???

    Sorry,
I also stand by my post.
He should never of been 'left' in such a place when the owner is fully aware that the chances of him passing the TT is very slim. The owner should of had the courage to hold him as he was given his wings. He at least deserved that.

I object to this statement. You call yourself "judgemental and rude" too - you are a forum member.

    Choppachop.

    You first.
