Wink General Update from the Crazy Farm!!

Ok so I thought I would share how things are going here
So out of my children... Sophie is doing great after her desexing. She was a bit moody last night but that is about it She did not like the fact that I gave her a shave but she also refuses to stay out of the mud puddles so I had little choice She LOVES to be muddy and doesnt understand why she then has to have a bath!! So short hair = easy to clean
Chiko is still a grumpy old man, moreso now that it is cold and everyone wants to cuddle up. He didnt even get out of bed today! Really! That dog has a steel bladder. Everytime I asked him if he wanted to get up he would stick his head out of the blankets, sniff a bit, and then give me the 'are you mad?' look before snuggling further under I will have to force him out before I go to bed though because I dont want him to hold it in for 24 hours lol I know its cold but he is the best rugged dog here!!! Full polarfleece jumpsuits and outer coats and everything. Oh well each to his own lol
Sam, my darling crazy. He is loveing the mud puddles, even if he doesnt see the point in the spunge bath before bed lol I got a hydrobath so it will be much easier to bath him once it is plumbed in His training is coming along great, he litterally jumps through hoops He is very quick and would do anything to please. Gotta love that one
Rose is much happier now that she has had some time to settle in. She loves to play with the poodles but is still a bit too goey at the little dogs to be trusted. She has lost the massive race mussles so I am working hard to keep her weight up, but she is starting to look like a pet now
I prefer that my dogs go through winter a bit over weight, eps the whippets who loose weight if we get a cold snap, so everyone is getting rice or wheetbix added to their meat, just something nice to warm their bellies and man are they stacking it on
Its a bit of a fight with Buzz. He does not like being on the chain but I tried to put him in the shed and he ripped both himself and the wall apart trying to get out He gets off and runs with me when ever I am outside to keep an eye on him but I have to chain him up again before I go back in He is still getting a heap of exercise, almost as much as he would do on his own, but he does not like being confined. Does anyone know any natural herbs that I can give him to calm him down a bit? I want something natural that will not upset his system but I need to calm him down so he doesnt fret the weight off as fast as I can put it on him
I think that is all I have to say its a nut-house here as per usual
    SO how are you??

Wow it certainly sounds like you are busy!
One reason I''m glad my cats stay inside - they love to run outside into the mud (which is clay) then get cranky while I try to wash their feet!
I don't envy you having to wash your dogs all the time
Poor little Chiko, he must really hate the cold if he won't even pee!

Ah ok I understand now why he won't go out! Lol you need a greenhouse that just has turf in it so he can have his own warm ensuite
