    Thanks Ash!

Does the description of the scar sound normal? Can take. Photo if needed?

Also what's the reason for stopping her jumping? She has jumped onto the bed once and onto the couch once but have managed to stop her every other time!

Yeh just make sure it doesnt get to big or it could end up herniated. But if is the same as when you got her from the vet then it should be fine.
The reason you dont want her to jump is because it could put strain on the stiches. So by picking her up instead of jumping you are stopping them pulling and hurting unduely

Agree, all mine were a bit lumpy between the stitches, Jessie also had a bit of muscle protruding as a lump at the side, vet said nothing to worry about...and it wasn't. She is back to being a working dog and as happy as Larry.
Mine jumped and had no problems but that is best to limit and avoid. After day 7 I did not mind what they did as vets take out stitches between days 7 and 10. I prefer 10 with humans and animals.

That's good to know Myf! They are a great vet surgery so didn't think they would dodge it up!

So usually in the morning Poppy goes out quite early (6am) and we have a sleep in (till about 9am).

Do you think it's okay to do that 2moro? Or too soon?

Also will she be okay outside on Tues from 6am till 2pm? Or should I leave her inside?

Amy, just observe her and do what you thinks suits her and you when the time comes.

Well it seems she is back to normal!

She woke at 5am, so I gave her breakfast in her crate and she went back to bed. She woke again at 7am and went out until I got up at 9.30am!

I forgot to close the bedroom door behind me when I went to let her in and she raced to the bedroom, lept onto the bed and gave OH lots of puppy kisses!

She's having a nap on the couch with me at the moment! I think OH has given me his man flu so am not feeling great!
