Default "I'm Good at Breeding Moodles"!!!

This is what someone said at a PD (profesisonal development) I was today!!!

I kept my mouth shut as it was something that was COMPLETELY unrelated and I think everyone was wondering why this women chose to share that THAT was her strength...

Buuut my gawd!!! I felt like saying good how? Do your health test your breeding dogs? Genetic testing?

Why is it that as soon as someone mentions that they breed dogs, no matter what the breed, people assume the worst?

Seems to be something about dogs that just brings it out in people =/

When I meet a cross breeder that is ethical and reputable, that performs regular health and genetic tests on their breeders, that doesn't operate like a BYB or puppy mill then I might change my opinions but until then my judgement stands.

I know where you're coming from SSW. It IS one of the first reactions of ppl. Could you imagine it we humans had that reaction every time we heard someone was pregnant. Wowser!

Amy, what's a moodle? I assume Maltese/Poodle? I would have piped up and asked what the prupose of her breeding mutts was? Lol.

I'm not going to voice my opinion on how good/bad mutt breeders are.... I will get angry and others will probably get angry at me.

It's very hard to bite your tongue in situations like that... I know I wouldn't have been able to!

I assume the worst when I hear someone breeds. Im not ashamed of it.
Im gonna assume the worst until you can convince me you're a 'good' breeder.
Considering she breeds 'Moodles', im put off instantly.
