Well the neglect did get Ollies extra weight off and they both needed LOADS of special attention with the grooming today so I guess his negligence had some good come out of it

Ahhh men. Definitely not being fussy imo.

I was glad to have a low-maintenance pooch when I had to leave Troopa with my hubby for 2 weeks, he just doesn't pay attention to detail or use his initiative majority of the time.

Maybe it's a womans maternal instinct or something, we just know what to do.

    Both are still alive.

Which given previous information - is pretty amazing all by itself.

I'm guessing the skin kids have survived ok too?

Good to see you checking in, Puggerup.

My OH is a dog person but he, too, is hopeless when it comes down to the small details only we seem to notice but are important! I'm afraid to leave either of mine with him when I go overseas for 2 weeks later this year.

Glad to hear you are back home for a while Pugger! Men do not understand why there are special instructions or can keep up with them.
Glad you made a negative into a positive with Ollie's weight loss!
You take care of yourself girl!

I was clever this time and had a Nanny hired to shower the kids every morning and take them to school and then come back and cook dinner for him to heat at night
