Question Is Anyone Traveling ... ?

I am looking into getting a standard poodle from melbourne and was wondering if anyone was traveling from melbourne to nsw in the next few weeks?

EDT: Never mind and thank you all for your assistance but we are not getting him anymore he is only limit reg, despite the guy telling us he was main, and we have no use for a limit dog.

You could try contacting Greyhound Transport. They are based in Bendigo but may be able to help.

I wanted to ask you mate...how many dogs do you have? It just seems like you have a lot of dogs and different breeds? Do you use them all for breeding since you don't want Limited Register?
I run two kennels from my property but over half of the dogs here are not breeders. They have either been given to us by people who could not keep them anymore and asked us to take them given we have the room or they are the old family pets. Almost everything that comes here, horse, dog, goat, cat etc retire here.
We breed whippets, poodles, and tibbies. We wanted a breeding dog and can not breed reg pups without main reg, so limit reg is no good to us.
I have, between the two kennels, 3 whippet studs and 3 bitches. One dog and two bitches of the poodles and one tibby stud and three bitches two of which are sisters. If you are worried about puppy farming, I only have a few litters, in total, a year. That might be one of each breed depending on what we are looking for at the time. We do not breed without demand, and all our dogs are well cared for and get their own time out with the family and get runs down the paddock. If they are penned, which most are not, they are in pens bigger than most backyards. Yes we have a lot of dogs, but they are far happier here than where they would have ended up without us taking them (pts or in the pound), and if we can find them good families to go to we do, if not they are welcome to stay here.
Please do not take this as an attach on you, I am just explaining our situation for further referance.
