Sorry to go OT when we're all talking about weenies

A few weeks back I was bored at work (happens often) and googled 'dog forum'

Since then, I have changed brands of dry food (dog AND cat) for more meat content and less fillers...

...bought a front lead harness which is making owner and ownee very happy!

...gotten car harnesses for the dogs (attaching from the chest, not the neck thanks DA)

...started brushing Pedro's teeth (this would not have occurred to me a month ago)

...started properly looking into a raw food diet...

....and I'm sure there's heaps more to come! As I said, I get bored at work

SO...I thank you all, my dogs thank you, hell, even my cat thanks you!

Keep up the good work everyone!

meegsndogs - that's the same way I found this forum!

I am a member of another forum but it is a general one, with only a teenie little pets section. I was trying to find a forum that was dedicated to just our furry friends, and preferably Australian (got sick of hearing about Blue buffalo and being told what I feed is 'rubbish' by Americans)

Oh yeah, apparently Royal Canin is complete garbage to them.
And don't you DARE mention the words "Pedigree PAL" or they will think you are killing your dog!
I know Pedigree isn't the best food, but come on... some dogs do great on it. Mine love the dry, especially the little white bones which get picked out first

At the end of the day, you need to do what's best for your dog & your particular situation. If your dog thrives on a particular brand, then go for it I say.

Oh don't worry, you should see the American reptile forums. Apparently if you don't baby your little bearded dragon and talk to it as though it's human and give it baths every morning and night (these are desert reptiles, by the way. Very used to a lack of water to soak in), you are then definitely a horrible reptile owner!
