Angry I Don't Freaking Believe It!!! My Moron Sister (rant, Rant Rant)

My stupid sister just called me at work to tell me be bought a poodle cross boxer, from a pet shop in Melbourne! She was told by the pet shop she should not desex her because she would be a good breeder and he could put her in touch with some one to breed her with.

The pet shop has told her she could make some money out of this poor dog.

The dog itself is around 9 weeks old, cost $1200 and has no vaccination, worming, vet records or micro chip. She is not even certain it is what the shop said it was!

He did not ask her about her home, yard space or give her any idea how big it is going get. If it is a boxer poodle cross i imagine it is going to get fairly big!

I am so mad right now, i want to fly over just to smack her in the head!

how could she do this to such a poor little pup?

    Pepsi,

Mate I'll swing past on my witches broom and pick you up and we can both go over and smack your sister up the side of the head.

Always amazes me what people will pay for a designer dog. That's more than I charge for Whippet puppies with all paperwork/worming/vac's details, view both parents, puppy package etc etc and life long support.

You can pick your friends but you can't pick your relo's.

Just because they are your relatives....doesn't mean you have to put up with garbage. I figured that one out and I have been happy ever since

    OH MY GAWD!!!!

I think I am most shocked at the cost of this puppy AND the fact that it has NO vet records, health care or microchipping!!!

Thats appauling!!! I wonder what it will look like! I boxer cross poodle is not really my idea of a designer dog!!!

Oh bugger, human nature at work.

Well, you already obviously knew your sister was not the best informed, and perhaps not the brightest spark when educated about dogs - but the pet shop owner should be shot.

    ahhh thats terrible
my sis did the same kind of thing..
Went and bought a 'maltese x Chihuahua' off a BYB because she wanted a small dog but didn’t want to pay more then $150.00. Didnt put any thought into it.
Now poor little tinkerbell has gotten to big, naughty and vocal for her liking and spends to much of its time in the backyard alone getting even naughtier.
If she didnt live 1500kms away I would take her out and teach her everyday

My other sis is kind of the opposite. She keeps taking all these dogs on that were otherwise going to get 'shot' or dumped (its a hick country town) and is starting to completely overwhelm herself.

hmmm. all I can say is dont let her breed it! maybe an old fashioned dog napping?

is this the same sis that wanted a shar pei?

Have you seen it? sounds a weird combination.

Shame on the pet shop encouraging her to breed...they just want more pups to sell...

yes it is the same sister that wanted a shar pei!

I have googled the dogs and they are an interesting mix with a huge variety of outcomes!

She could have bought any thing!
