Default Oh Dear. Council Phone Call on Monday Coming Up!

I'm out in my front yard today selling an ATV, and this little cav X comes running up into the yard and proceeds to urinate over us all, buyers included. Wasn't the nicest thing. I'm often pi$$ed off, but it's been a long time since I've been pi$$ed on. It's been wandering around off and on for the past month or so out on the main road.

Son reckons dog lives across the road and up, so he wandered up there to find owner. Lady comes and gets the dog, only to refuse to listen to my complaint and states she's just a visiting friend. Told her to send the owner's out so I can talk to them.

Um, nope, they don't wanna discuss it. Grump.

So DA will be calling council. School bus driver has nearly hit it, I've lost track of the amount of times cars have swerved towards my front entrance to miss the dog, and these owners obviously couldn't give a rat's bottom.

Don't you hate having to do it?

Yep, they will, I have no doubt about that.

this lady just didn't want to listen, everybody picked up on that. Stupid $#^%@%, dog is going to die or a human is going to die because of the dog being on the road. Sad.

Give the council your dry-cleaning bill and tell them to ask the owners to reimburse. Poor little dog, I hate owners like this. Hopefully council will talk to them, next time you see it out take it to the pound, let them pay for letting the dog roam.

You are right Von. Just discussed it with husband, he suggested the same thing. Hopefully they will listen to council. Hey, maybe dog isn't registered either so it will hurt the hip pocket. Often when fines are involved they will listen. Lol.

Yeah, even when the lady finally came out claiming she was just a friend and didn't own the dog, she actually saw a car swerving to try and miss the dog, as well as miss the trailer parked on the side of the road to pick up our bike. She just put her hands in her hair and went' "oh dear, oh dear."

    Hi DA

Did you check it for rego tags? Council will want to know what the number is.

Otherwise, if it has none, you could reasonably catch it and ring them to come get stray dog. Then you could advise woman to get it from council pound and pay the fine. Perhaps a bit of financial trauma would encourage her to take better care of it.
