Scout is crate trained. When he just can't get away from Spirit no matter where he hides in the house, he gets in his transport crate, pullls the little gate after him & holds on for dear life ..... until Spirit finally gets bored, gives up & leaves the room.

PMSL Choppa. She walked into the room, looked at crate, looked around, gave a sigh and obviously thought the room wasn't TOO embarrassing for her.

But yeah, shabby chic and GSD - the thought is pathetic.

I got mine on eBay, Choppa. Looked at the ones in the pet stores around here, the X-Large size seemed to average around the $256-$299 mark. That was for the heavy duty ones, with rounded corners for safety.
Got it A LOT cheaper than that from a supplier who I've bought from before. I'm very happy ith it. It IS the same heavy duty wire as those I saw in the pet stores, and once assembled I realised just how sturdy and strong it is.

I got ours from Ebay too. I was actually looking at yours closely in the pic because they look almost the same.

Ours was $160 including postage for the x-large.

Well, Logan went into her crate last night when I was ready to go to bed. I shut the door and wondered how she'd go, as she has slept beside my bed since she arrived.

I needn't have worried. She lay down, went to sleep, and I never heard a peep from her till I let her out this morning. Matter of fact, she seemed very happy to have her own place again, and was even quite calm when coming out of her crate this morning - calmer than usual!

Very happy. Hasn't touched the sheepskin so far.
