But thats what I have been doing for the past 9 weeks. She has been food driven/crazy since we got her! OH says she takes after her parents as we both love our food!

I don't know how crating her is not handling her with love Her crate is her bedroom, her own space, her safe place. She loves it.

Thanks for the advice I just think I need something more than persistance.

Re the stand up and walk at her, borrowed the idea from Victora Stillwell (smee or the dog), and it works on Frosty so I use it.

Amy, crating has nothing to do with not handling her with love...pfft....just keep going the way you are, you're doing a great job with Miss Poppy!

Thanks GAG! I crated her tonight while I ate! She protested for about 30 secs then cuddled up with her blanket and bunny!

She is now snoozing on the couch with me. I love her company when OH is on night shift!
