Thread: Collars???

    Default Collars???

Poppy currently has a thin nylon puppy collar...BUT its getting smaller and I can only losen it so much so she will soon need a new one.

She is 4.5months old so my question is...what sort of collar should I get her next?

I looked in PGD yesterday and didn't see anything that seemed like it would be suitable for her. All seemed too big or too hard (leather).

We don't have a lot of options in terms of purchasing pet goods here so I was going to look online for something...

    Any ideas?

I think go with the same or similar to what she has now, just a slightly larger one. Check out Rissons because they have a decent selection, if they don't then Kmart up at Riverlink has a good selection too, mostly of flowery collars that would suit Poppy to a tee but look very poofy on Batty

I like the rogzfordogz collars, made of webbing, available in reflective, go in the washing machine (not sure if that's recommended but I do it anyway).

Leather would probably soften up with a bit of dressing like dubbin or leather balsam and wear.

I'd like to get a breakaway collar for home outside so she can't hang herself on the picket gate, and maybe a non-stretch one for the beach.
