    Wax in ears tends to be blackish if it is mites, and if you have good enough eyesight or a magnifying glass you can see them moving if you scrape a little wax out of ears and look, if you have mites you need to treat them soon.

    And i clip it very short. All the hair at the entry of the ear and around that area. Theres a pic on that website i posted a link to.
    You can also pull the hair from the inside of dogs ears. Groomers do it, you get get a special powder to put on the ear hair before doing it to make it easier to grip the hair. It doesnt hurt the dog. Theres heaps of clips on how to do it on you tube. But maybe get a groomer to show you how to do it or just get them to do it. But the clipping of the hair is easy to do yourself.

    Well we took her to the vet and got it all checked out, ears are perfect no infection/mites which is great. Pheonix did have some wax, and he gav ethem a decent clean for us and showed us how to clean them and just said to use some good old metho when cleaning the out
    Little oompa loompa toped the scales at 7.7kgs at 3 months she is in good conditio though as she has the correct shape at the moment
