    Default Silly Question?

Does Casey look like a purebreed?

I'm only asking because everytime we take her for a walk, someone ALWAYS asks what breed she is? I think it's quite obvious what she is.

We didn't get her from a breeder. We got her from the litter my boyfriends fathers dogs had before he passed away. They aren't registered breeders, but their dogs look purebreed to me?

    Here are a few pics...

She looks like a stoner in that last pic lol

I'm not to savvy when it comes to identifying lots of different dog breeds.

Oh she is soo cute!!! Is she a BC?
If she is it could just be that no one seems to know that they come in any other colour than black and white. I am getting it a lot because my boy is cream!

It is the colour, people dont like different. I used to get into so many fights about Atlas, people asking me if he was SBT X bull terrier, not many believe they come in and other colour than white!

I give up now, if they look like they will listen, i will say something, otherwise i just walk off

    She looks BC to me.

    I think you'll find it's the colour.

Also when I had the Kelpies people would often ask me what breed are they?? I'd look them straight in the eye and say AUSTRALIAN Kelpie.

There response was often, Oh I thought they were the black and white ones.

Lots of people don't know our Australian Breeds, although the BC has been adopted as one of ours.

    Thanks for the replies guys.

I guess it must be the colour. A few people HAVE said that they haven't seen a brown and white one. I just didn't think they were that 'rare' to come across. I, myself know that brown and white is fairly common, I just figured other people did too.

God help the tan and white BC owners!

She looks like a pure border collie to me, I have a friend with a very similar looking dog.

people are used to the black and white BC. But also people are always savy with breeds of dogs!
Maybe regional or country people would know it is a BC more so than coastal people in Queensland.
