Thread: Pug Cross

  1. #1

    Default Pug Cross

I saw a pug cross pup labeled as a pugalier today walking past a pet shop.
Very very very cute.. but $995

That's no cheaper than a pure bred!!!!

When I mentioned this to my daughter I was sure to say it LOUD enough for the entire shop to hear

I saw a couple of dogs today that were obviously pug crosses. Although they were obviously well cared for pets I sat and wondered to myself... What is so wrong with pugs dammit??

These dogs were really not attractive at all.

If you don't like pugs get another breed! Don't just mix them up into some other thing...

Exactly. Pugs are one of my favourite breeds, and although people say they are not attractive, it's not all about the looks. I love the breed and do think they are cute.

Cross breeds should be sold for like 10% less than the pure breed, or less. Depends on what the breeds are really.

Exactly. Personally I frown upon the mixing of any breed, though.

    I gather you prefer pures?

As sad as this may seem, Teddy is our first pure breed. Medium haired Chihuaha...

I think there is pretty much a purebred about that suits everyone's taste and lifestyle. And mutts, yep they're great. But there are so many out there needing homes, deliberately creating more is pretty unfair, especially when it's only done to make some cash, not with any regard for where those pups end up or how they live.
