Sometimes we go for a walk anyway cos she doesn't really notice.

We sometimes work on new tricks like roll over. And I need to work on nail clipping with her.
YouTube - How to train your dog to relax for nail clipping

And I could work on give-take-hold-give with various toys. And sometimes I practice "stay" and owner-out-of-sight stay.

Here, it doesn't usually rain for so long I can't out wait it and go a bit later. Even yesterday when the whole city was flooded, it happened in an hour and after that we could go out. Things were a bit soggy and the debris was a bit everywhere but it was ok.

Lots of training (tricks, recall practice inside, the basics, stay practice etc). Fetch up and down the hallway and practice on "Hand" which is to put the toy in my hand not drop it four feet away and come up for cuddles instead

Oh, and wrestles too, but that only happens with hubby!

ETA: I forgot about heeling practice!

Ditto, just get thoroughly soaked on a long walk.

I prefer it to walking in the sun

Seriously though, I have to tire out my 2 otherwise they are tempted to get the zoomies in the house. Nothing good going to come out of that. 2 dogs zooming on a tiled floor. Something's gonna get broken, maybe one of the dogs

Watching TV - after all they're Whippets - ewww we might get wet if we go outside and excellent she sat down lets all jump on her, snuggle in, and suck the body warmth from her.

Seriously sometimes I move the car out of the garage and we go play fetch in there do a bit a training that sort of thing.

Yep, dodge the raindrops. Have to walk Logan soon and it's pouring. Sigh. Comes and goes so hopefully I can pick a time soon when it dies down. Of course, it'll probably start bucketing the moment I get out into the street, knowing my luck.

Otherwise like Ange and others said, lots of mental stimulation or they'll go gaga. I would too!

Mollie doesn't mind the rain at all! Sometimes when it's a really light rain, we will go down to the dam (The water will be warm) and Mollie will have a swim (Physco dog!)
We also do training - Mollie is always in zoomies though, so I like to keep her extremely stimulated!

Mine are either in their pen, but lying out in rain AND in the clamshell pool, then in the mud, or, out of the pen, lying in the rain, in the other clamshell pool then in the mud, or, if not too wet and muddy are inside dirtying up my couches, playing with their toys or conked out on the floor.
