Actually, so would I if ppl could spare some time tomorrow to load photos.

They will rarely be used, so i don't want to go to much epense, so dirt, or these rice hulls really sound just what I'm after.

Jeez, quite point blank the ideas coming in are brilliant! Thanks so much guys!
Maybe a pot with some grass in there?

Yeh if I can find some spare time to get photos. I am not really home during the days right now, so it might take a bit. I think I might have a drawing of our set up though. Might be able to find that!

I have some lavender pots in my runs that the dogs dig in all the time, they love them and treat them like toys. Grass pots would really well I would think.

    Here you are as ordered...

    Fences are all 6ft high.
All fences have concrete underneath them to stop the dogs digging out.
    The yards are just grass.
The shed is for mating, welping, etc. and has conveyor as a floor.
Dont really have time for photos though, sorry.

...The miniture horses are in one of the pens right now lol

I like concrete under kennels or sheds, with gravel in yards or runs. Gravel I like because it doesn't wear like dirt or grass. If it's nice a deep you can wash it down well and rake it over so it doesn't smell - even when it's been wee'd on. It can be shovelled out and replaced if needed too.

But I pick a nice round edged gravel with biggish pieces to avoid it sticking between toes etc. It's also good in gateways or on paths if your ground gets wet and muddy.

Do the rice hulls stick in dog's coats? And blow around? We have some pretty ferocious winds around our area - I'm thinking they might just disappear like smoke if I tried them here!

Dog house, dog kennel, pet house, pet enclosure, sunshine coast

DA....have a look at these!! I am going to order 8 to house in the stable until I can find the 35k for the ones I really want. I think this is a grat price although you might need to take the pic to a local and get a quote to have made locally
