    Default One Possum Equals Mayhem

There is a possum up a tree in the back yard. I am presuming it's not well as I've never seen one out in daylight.

The noisy minor birds have alerted everything to its exact spot up the tree.

I've had to lock the dogs away to give it a chance to get down and out to a safer place to spend the day. Problem is it's gone up a gum tree in the orchard/puppy run (no longer used for the puppies) but it's fenced.

The birds are driving me nuts, screeching, Gemma is going off her nut too as the minor birds are something she can't stand.

I hope the poor thing comes down or can link up to another tree and get the heck out of the place soon.

All the dogs know where it is thanks to the minor birds.

Ahhh a peaceful day - not.

Thanks AF, didn't think they would be interested as last time I rang re blue tongue lizard they said they wouldn't come even when I told them I had dogs. In the end I relocated the lizard myself for it's own safety as it kept coming out and laying on the rocks.

Will give them a call re the possum and see what they say.

A possum going for a wander last night ended up in our pet birds screeching, Bella freaking out, two cats hissing, one of them going outside to slap that dang possum for disturbing her sleep(shes a little evil one), and the other cat just sleeping. I didnt get much sleep last night

I hope you cat didn't harm the possum ( whom is a protect species by law) & i hope you dis-courage your cats or dogs from teasing or harming any native species..

I have 3 blue tounges in my backyard and have considered calling wires, but we have a mini wetland habitat across from our house and also a water causeway thing directly beside our house.. i walked past and saw about 15 blue tounges sunning themselves on the rocks,...so I don't think its going to do me any good.

I can't stand the minor birds either!

They pipe and screech at Bobby when he's sitting at the window.

Poor poss, I hope he heads off soon!
