Well what a night that was. We had Valkyrie in the bedroom but she couldn't jump up onto the bed so she cried! We had to wrap her in blankets and lift her up that way. She took off her cone twice during the night so i had to turn the light on to fix it. She was too restless at 4am so we all got up. Hubby went to work. Valkyrie and I lay on the couch she cried for an hour, slept for an hour, cried for an hour and slept for an hour. I am now waiting for my mum to get liquid painkiller from the vet and drop it over.
It is just so heartbreaking because she can't understand why this is happening!!

She has done about four monster pees but no number 2's yet. I have only fed her SMALL wet meals of raw meat and veg. The visit from nana really helped lift her spirits. She got alot of nana love and has had her pain medicine. She is now lying quietly about to go to sleep and she is not crying - All good!

Well today is a much better day and she has gone number 2's so very excited. I am looking after my nephew today and she is very happy to have a visitor. He brought over Bolt and Underdog for her to watch!! How cute!! She had actually watched some of Bolt. When hubby gets home we are going to take the collar off her and take her for a walk around the block.

She just has so much energy and I thought a slow controlled walk might burn off some exercise rather than trying to stop her chasing the cat or flies or just running around in circles everytime I stand up!!!

Well today I have to leave Valkyrie un-supervised for the first time since the operation. I have taped the cone together just in case she works out how to un-snap it. I have made sure that her collar is not too tight and that I can fit two fingers under it.
Now I just have to hope she behaves herself and just has a sleep!!!!
