Default Logan Update: The Memory of Zed Has Gone Forever!

Some of you may be aware of the situation we went through with Zed. He attacked three ppl in his time here, and one of them was actually my mother who is almost 70.
Although she spent a great majority of her life with GSD's because of my father, the happening with Zed really did some damage physchologically.

Today Logan has wiped those memories from her completely! Yay for Logan!!!

My mother came over and was well prepared with a pocket full of treats. Logan behaved herself beautifully, accepted Mum without any issues, played with her, licked her to death and then tried to jump in the passenger seat of Mum's car to go home with her. Mum left with a huge smile on her face and the comment "now that is a normal GSD!"

Logan is going to the street markets tomorrow so we can ascertain how she behaves amongst ppl everywhere - but Mum has made us promise to visit her with Logan before coming home.

It's been a lovely day thanks to Logan, so just wanted to share. Thanks.

    Hooray for Logan and DA.

Just goes to show sometimes it is the dog and not the owner when it comes to trouble, and a joy when you get a dog that is all willing and good like a normal dog should be.

Something we should all remember especially when reading newbie posts - this message being directed at myself mostly.

How wonderful. I'm glad your Mum can now move passed the incident with Zed.

Best of luck with Logan at the street markets tomorrow

Logan sounds like an absolute darling and is no more than you deserve.

I've been so wanting to do the "happy dance" ever since you first talked about Logan, but have been very mindful of Zed, respectful of his time & experience with you & also of Inca being such a beautiful girl & her limited time with you. I'm "quietly confident" that Logan is a "very" good match for you & your family. I eagerly await more posts on how she's going.

I went shopping this afternoon GSD's, and it was lovely getting home to see her out there having a great time playing with husband and eldest son (youngest is out today.)

I'm not sure who was having more fun TBH, her or them.
