I'm pooped, but it was a great day!

Logan handled everyone in the streets and at the market like a cool, calm cucumber. Those ppl who patted her asked first which pleased me, so all was well. She really does seem to have a goregous freindly disposition.
She met a few other dogs, and was great with all of them except two Maltese who wanted to attack both Logan and a Kelpie that Logan made friends with. Grrrr.

I came home and had a nap, only to wake up and find her napping beside me, so I guess she was tired too. Lol.

Sounds like a match made in heaven! It also seems that she is very much at home with you guys. It's brilliant IMO!

Bloody SWF's... For some reason all I think of is little big man syndrome... Yay for the Kelpie being friends with Logan though!

Hey DA !! I'm really thrilled with the result of your first public outing together. My "happy feet" are turning into some pretty nice high kicks ATM. More good news like this will have me really doing the happy dance.

Try not to let the little dogs bother you when you're out & about. It's gonna happen, so there's not much you can do about it. With how well Logan was behaved at the market today, just think about how much you are promoting the breed instead of the bad press they get. That's why I take my 2 young 'uns to the market when ever I want to take a break. Tara is fantastic & so reliable with every one. She's brilliant with toddlers, except for wanting to kiss them all the time because they are at "face licking" height when they're standing right in front of her. She's pretty affectionate these days, so even the adults are ripe for "Let me wash your face for you" when they bend down to say hello to her.

I know what you mean Lynnie. A boy who is an old friend of my son who is very fearful of GSD's was there, so I was able to get Hugh to pat her and he was really surprised, I must say.

We stopped in at my Mum's and once again she got a face full of licking so she was happy too. Will just keep it up and make ure she goes everywhere so the socialisation she has had u-to-date continues full-on.

The 10 year old down the road who visits here often finally arrived home today so made his way straight up to our place, and no problems there at all. As a matter of fact Logan seemed very happy to play soccer with him. She loves balls as much as Zed, but unlike him she prefers to bring them back to play again instead of attacking and destroying them!

She LOVES squeaky toys. Constantly running around with a squeaky in her mouth making lots of music. Tis REALLY amusing.

Sensational news about possibly helping young Hugh to get over his fear. Very chuffed to hear about that.

Logan sounds like she likes to be out & about, so I'd take her everywhere if it were me. I never travel without a Sheppie where I can even if just to avoid instances of road rage. I've had a couple of times where some hot head has wanted to have a "go" when I'm pulled up at the lights & they've got out of their car to come & give me a serve. I've said "Wouldn't go there if I were you Mate" & pointed my thumb in the direction of the GSD sitting in the back seat. I rarely get any lip these days anyway because Spirit has her head out the car window most of the time & if anyone looks at her, she's right into it with "You lookin' at me buddy ?"

Lol Myf. No such thing as ap erfect dog. *Pokes tongues*

But I know what you mean, with each day she is getting closer and closer. She's asleep right now.

We went for our end-of-day walk tonight: she handled ppl, dogs barking behind fences everywhere, cars flying past right next to her (literally), car headlights shining at us, music, you name it she handled it all in her stride. I am very proud of her ATM.
