In history I learnt Germany was part of middle earth, surrounded by the Atlantic, Baltic and the Mediteranian. Yes these Gods are as German as they are Nordic.

depending on our next dog, we were thinking Kyle, Gunna, bones, Kirk !

When my parents had their kennel all of their GSD's in a litter had a theme but they stopped breeding when i was really little so i can remember.

Odin and Logan - can sound a bit alike.

I think we need something very different sounding to Logan

Hippo - what is Lightning in German?

    Lecher (Lecker) is delicious...

The german name website had a link to GSDs - called Deutscher Schäferhund so he could be Schäfer (Scheffer) (Shepherd?)

My friend who named Frosty suggested Adjectives for names. Less likely to pick a name belonging to a human. I'm also trying to think of German boys names but they're all a bit Monty Python. Eg Fritz, Heinz, Helmut, Willy (Villy). I did a whole week of scuba diving with a German God named Andre (how he got a frog name I never found out). And then there all those fun german musicians and scientists. Schubert. Beethoven (taken), Mozart, Wolfgang, Hanz, Sigmund, Karl...

Can't call him Odin, would think of Dorte's Rottweiler all the time.

Oh all right, I'll tell ya's...

It's so far coming down to two ...

    Da da de dah....

Luka is nice, and Logan and Luka does roll off the tongue easily.
    But...

Diablo is name I just looooooooooooove, in itself. Logan and Diablo doesn't roll off the tongue as well as Logan and Luka, though.

    Luka

    or Diablo.

Hey, this is fun stringing it out.

*Don't mind me, just practicing for the Awards!*
