OMG the unley road shop has closed?

I liked the one on King William road, but when the landlord decided to quadruple the rent, she decided she wanted to do something else. It was more rugged doggy stuff.

There is another on South Road at the top of Tapleys hill. Rural Pet Meats on Corner Sunvalley road, O Halloran Hill. You can get a kg of roo jerky strips (no bones) for dog for about $35 or less, or just pieces. And they have the big bags (15kg +) of dog food for good prices, and they make food or provide ingredients if you want to make your own from pet grade ingredients (which I don't). They also have locally made pigs ears and the like. Better than the chinese ones that you get in the Chain Store closer to town.

There's sort of a boutique one in Stirling - I think it's a petstore more than a dog supplies store - and its prices are heart stopping (way too high) and with that you get zero service, so it's easy to walk in look at stuff and leave. There's another on Magil Road, I much prefer the equestrian supplies shop just up the road - they know most people with horses are stone motherless broke most of the time, so they have cheap to fat-wallet in one shop.

The Unley road shop I remember as pink and frilly - but it had Rogz dog collars at prices that didn't make me faint. Sad to hear it's gone.

I would suggest natural or organic shampoos, coat conditioners, etc. Things made in Australia. When I got the the pet store I actually read what is in the product and where it is made - helps me make a decision when there is more than one type available.
Also natural, healthy treats - like GSDs treats.
And nice pet furniture! Not ugly patterns or dull colours.
    Hope that helps a bit.

GSD does the store take your treats on consignment or do they buy them outright and then put whatever price they like on them ?
    Which way would you prefer?
What sort of amounts do you supply ?
