Spent last night with Izzy at my friends and all seemed well, left at 10am after walking Izzy for an hour, and my friend assured me she would be fine with Izzy, but I got a phone call from her at 2pm saying that Izzy had attacked her dog who is one of the few dogs Izzy doesn't have a problem with, and when my friend was separating the dogs Izzy turned on her and tried to bite her so she locked Izzy in the laundry until I could get there. I took Izzy to the vet and the vet has kept her there for the night and we hope that the behaviourist will be able to see us on monday. I'm still hoping that something can be done to help her.

Seems you are doing all you can. I must say I do not like the human biting.
    Good luck!

I certainly don't like the human biting and neither does my hand that is now twice it's normal size but I really do hope there is something we can do for her. I want to try everything before I make the decision to have her pts. thanks for the support. I have had dogs with aggression problems before but nothing like this.

Hang in there, you are doing a great job.

I feel for you and you truly are a great person giving this dog a second chance knowing her aggression problems etc. Izzy is one lucky girl and one day when she is over all this, hopefully she will realise that you never wanted to hurt her and that you are doing all you can for this little girl.

I hope that you can come to a decision that is suitable for you in the end, I support you all the way and understand what ever path you take.

    All the best.

I hope the situation with Izzy can be sorted I really do. I hope you've had a T-shot if your hand is swollen.

If Izzy is not around other dogs what is she like. Has she ever had the opportunity to be an only dog? I'd be curious to know.
