I don't bother to watch, Greys. I do not understand why people troll u tube etc to find distressing footage then post it to their forums. It happens on bird boards etc too. So much so they had to make it's own section lol.

Well now lets see....I was't 'trolling" YouTube . And I most certainly was not trying to find distressing footage just to post on forums Butthen you dont need to understand either ,do you? You dont like it,you dont watch it,so why come in and make comments such as that when you knew full well it was footage from the Post Heading ?

Now, I was actually following a link that Google brought up as we are currently trying to learn and understand everything there is to know about organ donorship. In the video was also sections on keeping other organs kept alive as well as just the head.

I will admit to wondering if it was for real as well but the more I took notice the more it appeared to be genuine
The obviously poor and delayed reactions to certain stimuli for instance . Though I guess they could of just used a very ill dog for a hoax.
But also keep in mind the things that scientists actualy did put live animals through ( perhaps still do but it is a much recognised and monitered system these days.

What I truley know is that the poor defenceless dog looked miserable and scared

People also go through craiglist, etc adds, post ones showing pets, birds in bad condition or bad surroundings. I just have never understood the compulsion. YOU may not do it routinely just to post OH my gooodness, look at this but many many do, mostly on American forums.

My personal philosophy is if you KNOW it is going to distress you., why do it?

I think it was real, and I would have liked to have said the dog wouldn't be feeling pain as it's head was severed from the spine, but putting citric acid in his mouth would have hurt
