No, I meant people in general taking others for a ride. Making it harder for those of us being honest.

What? You had a customer not pay you or something?

Same as the fence. Levi is getting into your yard, but as far as the council will be concerned that's your responsibility too, not just the neighbours.

I realise a lot of ppl are very unhappy with their local animal control regs, but I'm just trying to explain it's not easy for them, either.

I have had that happen before, but in this case I was referring to the bolded section. Fair enough there are different viewpoints but there are also those who will make complaints just to be a nuisance and they are the ones that, because they are lying, cause the council to be unable to take some things seriously.

Sorry I'm getting all muddled up now I think

Yep, happened with my mother. Had to take the ENTIRE neighbourhood to make an official complaint before legal action could honestly be made and the dogs seized and removed. It was a nightmare, something I wouldn't wish on anyone.

That's horrible! I wish your mother didn't have to go through it!

Poor Levi. Looks like he just wants a playmate. Bummer.

I withdraw all my statements about wanting to explode them.

Levi has been being neglected over the last couple of weeks because the NDN's new baby is currently in hospital being treated in the hopes of avoiding kidney failure.

I've just offered to walk Levi daily when I walk Batty. Hopefully that will keep him a little more settled. I just had the wife here talking to me. At the very least it will help stimulate him a little more and get him to relax a bit more at home, stop digging under the fence etc.

I'm trying to be as un-cynical about it as I can. I don't know what they are going through, can't even begin to imagine it to be honest.

Nope. I am not taking on that responsibility. It's bad enough that I have their cat. I don't want their dog as well! Besides I think their other little boy is a bit attached to Levi.

He's cute and sweet, but not my cup of tea.
