Such heart warming news after such a volatile start to the year. If I am enjoying reading this update, I can only begin to imagine how much you are enjoying every single day and night with him. Dog bless Ralph and BIG xxxxx from Bella

very well thankyou. He is such an angel, especially compared to this rat of a puppy, hes kind to her but she annoys him so much...

lump has slowly come back up so we will take it to get checked as vet recommended and maybe drained again.

will take him in 2 weeks when we take the pup for her needle. . now that will be a handful, last time he peed on wall when we were inside, and she does notkeep still *sigh*

Some dogs need a lot of grapes to react and others only a few...I brought it up because Ralph is not 100%

He really is a precious boy

Thanks Dorte. He is a real fruit-bat, when living in Rockhampton we had mango trees and pawpaw, and he loved eating both. He isn't as keen on shop bought mangos down here though.
I'll stop any grapes, and give him other fruits that he likes.
Hope all your pack are starting to get better! to all your mob!

Stone fruits like peaches etc are not good for him either, but mangos are ok in small doses, bananas in small doses too (they contain a fair amount of potassium)...apples, pears etc (NO cores or seeds)...rock melon and kiwis are good too

It is just grapes, raisins and sultanas that are quite dangerous and also macadamia nuts are a BIG no-no!

Might try him on the rockmelon, he hasn't had that before. He does have a bit of a sweet tooth and likes something refreshing and juicy! Mind you he does eat the mandarins when they fall of the trees too!

Talking gummi bears Dorte, we found some German ones at Aldi that are flavoured using real fruit and don't have all the chemical numbers like some of the others! Ralph really likes these ones!
