    Default Broke, Irrisponsible Owners.

My son's neighbour and mate has a lovely staffy. She often gets out when in season and he would just deal with it by knocking pups on the head.

This man, even though he has a gambling and alcohol addiction, he is the only person who can handle my son when he is at his psychotic worst. I call on him when at wits end.

There has just been another scare and thank goodness she is not pregnant.

This is not a goodonya Di thread.
Son and I will offer to pay to spey her. I know it is taking his responsibility away but he does love his dog, my son will be the one called in to help kill pups. I do not want that to happen. He has really helped me in the past. Hmmmm, it is a damned if you do and damned if you don't decision. I really believe in people being responsible themselves..however...groan.

Agree with you totally Di, and to stop the poor bitch having any more litters or you son being called in to help kill the pups, I would say go ahead with the offer and if he says yes, go ahead (funds permitting).

    Never hurts to ask.

I always believe in...one good turn deserves another.

so if he's helped you out you could help him and the dog.

Agree the dog should be fixed, and he is being very irresponsible not putting his dog up when in season, but in saying that he is being more responsible than the people who keep wont cull the pups and wont look after them.

Nicely said mousie. Too many ppl don't consider the cons that come with owning animals. While ppl can be irresponsible it doesn't mean they don't care.

That is very sweet of you Di. I know you said it isn't a "goodonya" thread but I'm gonna say it anyway. Goodonyafor helping the dog - 1 less problem to worry about.
